Permanently removes a brand identifier from the tenant's configuration. Requires an Enterprise subscription.
NOT REVERSIBLE, and it takes more than the identifier with it: every brand library image linked to it is unlinked, and for a domain its reference pin is released. Re-adding the same value afterwards creates a NEW identifierID and restores none of that - the image links and the pin have to be made again - and open findings that matched this identifier stop resolving to a configured identifier.
To stop monitoring a term temporarily, call save-brand-identifier with active: false instead. That keeps the identifier and its links, and a paused domain stays allowlisted, so pausing - unlike deleting - never causes the tenant's own estate to be reported back to them.
The images themselves are not deleted: they stay in the library and simply stop being shown for this identifier. The response describes what was removed.
